The question we hear most from site owners is this: "what if an ad I do not want shows up next to my content?". On a blind-auction network, the answer is little more than hoping it does not happen. On adPluga there are four places where the decision is yours, or goes through someone before it reaches your site.
1. The adPluga network reviews every ad
Ads in the adPluga network come from many brands. Before any of them shows on someone else's site, adPluga reviews it. If the brand changes the image or the destination, the ad goes back to review. A declined ad never reaches your spaces.
The network is optional. The dashboard turns it on when you start, because it is the shortest way to get paid ads, and you can turn it off in Settings › Account. In the network, you keep 80% of what brands pay.
2. Direct deals only start with your yes
In the Marketplace, the site asks for the ad and the brand accepts. Nobody starts a deal with you without a request or an answer from you. From the deal, you keep 88%. You can decline a request and end a deal whenever you want.
3. Block a brand across all your spaces
If you do not want a brand on your site, block it in Curation. It stops showing in all your spaces, in the network and in deals, and the block also covers the ads it makes later. You do not need to go back every time the brand launches a new campaign. You can unblock it whenever you want.
4. Space by space, ad by ad
Sometimes it is not the brand, it is the place. An ad can be fine on the articles page and not on the home page. In Curation you see the other brands' ads that can show in each space and choose: block an ad in that space, or let in only the ones you approved.
And when there is no paid ad
The space is never empty: an ad from adPluga itself shows. It does not pay, but it does not leave a blank hole on the page either, nor open the space to an ad nobody checked.
Where to start
If your site is not on adPluga yet, the guide to earning from your site takes you from the site's address to the first withdrawal. If it is, open Curation and see who can show in your spaces today.
