Many people with a small business have never run an ad campaign. They do not know what a CPM is, do not want to pick audiences or bid, and worry about spending more than they can. Promote is for them: five questions and the ad is published.
What we ask for
- An image. The dashboard crops it to the size most sites use, 300×250, and you can adjust the crop. Add a short sentence for people who cannot see the image.
- Where it leads. Whoever taps the ad goes to your WhatsApp, your site, your Facebook page or your Instagram profile. For WhatsApp, you pick the country code and type the number.
- The countries. It starts with yours; add any others.
- The most per day. From €1.
- For how long. 7 days, 30 days, or until you stop it.
Before you publish, the dashboard shows the most you can spend in total. No surprises.
What you pay for and what you do not
Seeing the ad costs nothing. You pay for each tap, €0.10 by default. If you pay more per tap, the ad shows ahead of others more often.
There are three things you never pay for:
- Taps that look like bots. They are filtered before you are charged.
- Repeated taps on the same ad. Each ad shown counts at most one tap.
- What shows in your own spaces, if you also have a site on adPluga.
And the same person sees your ad at most 3 times a day, so the money reaches more people instead of the same ones again.
A worked example
With €2 a day and €0.10 per tap, the ad stops after 20 taps that day and comes back the next. Over 7 days, the most you can spend is €14. These numbers are an example: how many taps you get depends on the countries, the image and how many people see the ad.
Where it shows
On other people's sites and apps that show ads from the adPluga network. Before it gets there, adPluga reviews the ad, usually the same day, and tells you in the dashboard and by email. If it is declined, we say why. Changing the image or the destination puts it back in review.
The balance
Taps are paid from your wallet balance, which you top up by card from €1. If the balance runs out, the ad waits and starts by itself when you top up. You do not have to turn it back on. adPluga never puts your ad in someone else's space without paying them.
When it stops
- When the day's spend reaches the maximum, until the next day (the day changes at midnight UTC).
- On the end date you chose.
- When you pause it, on the ad's page.
And when you want more control
Promote creates a campaign for you. When you want to pay per thousand views, per sale or per lead, choose screens, dates or other sizes, open Campaigns › New campaign. The guide to promoting your business shows every step.
